Edit Any Part of Your Song with Ease
Exclusive to Standard and Pro users, Replace Section lets you edit any part of a song—add or remove middle sections, rewrite lyrics, and more.
Step 1: Open Lyrics to Song Tool
First, openLyrics to Song Tool, and you will see the page shown below.
Step 2: Select Replace Section
Hover over your song, click the three-dot icon in the top-right corner, then select “Replace Section” from the menu to start replacing your track.
Step 3: Wait for Lyrics and Selection Bar to Load
After opening Replace Section, give it a moment to load the song’s lyrics and selection bar. Once ready, you can choose the part you want to edit.
Step 4: Select and Replace Lyrics
In the Lyrics panel, highlight the part you want to modify, or use the Waveform Selection Bar below to adjust your selection. Then, type your replacement text in the New Lyrics field to update the lyrics.
Step 5: Click Replace to Generate New Versions
After clicking Replace, two versions of the song will be created. Listen to both and choose the one you like best!
Step 6: Get Full Song
Hover over your favorite extended version, click the three-dot icon in the top-right corner, then select “Get Full Song” to generate the complete track with both the original and the extension combined.
